What is the best way to deal with suicide bombers?

Quote from buzzy2:

Ninja: does your kindergarten logic distinguish between military losses and 3000 civilians killed in the heart of NYC?

Does yours distinguish between civillians killed in the heart of NYC and the heart of Baghdad, Basra, Kabul and elsewhere?

Quote from Ninja:

So you think that a soldier has no mom, dad, sister, brother, daughter, son, etc. who will miss him, when he dies in this war for oil?

They are heroes and they are not dying for nothing...

Unfortunately, the terrorists and the hostile tyrants puts America in a situation where deaths are inevitable. The question is how to minimize those deaths.

So it's not like "if we weren't going to war nobody would die" that's incredibly naive...

Freedom's Source

Read something recently worth thinking about.
It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who's given us freedom to demonstrate.
It's the soldier, not the reporter, who's given us freedom of the press.
It's the soldier, not the poet, who's given us freedom of speech.
It's the soldier, who serves under the flag, …who defends the protesters right to burn the flag.
Isn't it time now to demonstrate that we support our troops.
Were it not for the brave…there'd be no land of the free.

Quote from alfonso:

Surely someone willing to give his life is an act of immense courage.

I don't think that's even debatable.

So you think the suicide bombers have "immense courage". While I believe them to be pathetic, brainwashed cowards.

As I said, we have no base line for discussion.

However, since you believe that killing yourself and taking innocent civilians to death with you....little babies, and small children and women count as much as military opponents....is an act of bravery;

I suggest you fight for your "cause" by demonstrating your "courage". Try self immolation. Bring back an oldie but goodie. Maybe you can rekindle (pun intended) an old fad. Do for both sides a blessed event.

Do you really vote? Are you really in the US? Your bad english betrays you.

No, I don't vote and no I don't live in the US. You know what I live in Europe and all my life I had the dream to live in the US one day. I had a schedule and I was very near to immigrate. Now I see this mad people in the US government and I see things like patriot act, etc. and I ponder.

US government is responsible for americans, the US army would kill without hesitation all the argentine population if American lives were at stake.

If you are worried about iraqis you should blame Saddam, if he had resigned all those deaths would have been avoided.

I am not against a necessary war I am against an unnecessary war and also I am against liars in governments who brainwash their own people.

But what is that assumption based on?
The attempt on the snr Bush's life? Is that all you have?
I'll ask you again, where are these links to terrorism -- and Al-Q in particular -- your government keeps reassuring the world that it knows about?
If SH does have WMD, then he's had them for years -- why hasn't there been even one instance where he has armed these terrorists to attack his "sworn enemy", the US?

And why should we believe a resented angry 3rd world bum? Do you have better information than the CIA and the US government?

You are not only an idiot, you are an arrogant idiot.

Wonderful rs7, just wonderful.

I suggest you take a long, hard look in the mirror. Perhaps you'll realise that you're no better than the "cowards" you so despise.
