I'm politically neutral and don't participate in the US election (I'm a foreigner). But I believed until today that Trump would win the election this November.

But now that he's been convicted I think this is a genuine big deal. Not so much that Trump can't shake it off in a few days and no way he will do jail time. The problem is he is technically a convicted criminal. And even though many people will still vote for him - the stigma of voting for a criminal will keep quite a few voters away (who otherwise would have voted). If the average American turns down the job application from joe average because he once spent 3 months in jail - there is no way that American voters will psychologically say yes to the con on the ballot.

DJT has been up based on the likelihood of Trump winning. Now that my conviction has changed based on his conviction (that was cute, eh) - where does DJT go now?

Is it a smart play to start shorting here?

after the current dump I actually think this is the right time to enter buy!

DJT media has been a failure as a corp: fewer and fewer viewers, and almost nil advertising.

Aside from Trump crowd, likely some of the big donors have been supporting the stock, as they know the old adage "stock market is the best advertising media."

But regardless of convictions -- and future ones -- or whether he wins or not, Trump owns about 60+ per cent of the stock. It is merely a question of time before he sells every last share.

And then the famous question: sells to whom?

The flag has been planted at this point. I don't care for Trump personally, but just because a guy that didn't like him got some of his political friends to go along with this charade - everyone gets to call him a "convicted felon". It will certainly be overturned on appeal, but that wasn't the point of all of this. I certainly hope the Republicans drag Joe out to some red area with a Republican judge and convict him of equally inane charges.

we don't like choppy/messy/indecisive movements.

Investors hated those tweets.
Before the tweet, the investor could be sitting on a $1m profit.
After the tweet, the investor could be sitting on a $10m loss.
