From the study in your article you moron.
Long term antibodies... means you were fucked up. When they fade you will probably get fucked again..
You don't want them... You wanted to beat the virus down with your T Cells and cross reactivity.
Before you got inflamed...
You are such a lying fucking moron...

Persistence of neutralising antibodies was associated with disease severity and sustained level of pro-inflammatory cytokines, chemokines, and growth factors. By contrast, T-cell responses were similar among the different neutralising antibody dynamics groups. On the basis of the different decay dynamics, we established a prediction algorithm that revealed a wide range of neutralising antibody longevity, varying from around 40 days to many decades.
Let's read the large bolded print... Nearly 40% of people don't have antibody protection which lasts 6 months to stop reinfection with Covid.
From the article:
From the analysis, the researchers created five categories based on how long antibodies lasted in an individual.
The first category, called the "negative" group, included the individuals who never developed detectable neutralizing antibodies. This group comprised 11.6% of participants.
Comprising 26.8% of patients, the second group is called the "rapid waning" group and showed varying early levels of antibodies that waned quickly. The third category comprised 29% of participants and was called the "slow waning" group as these patients tested positive for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 for up to half a year.
The fourth group, called the "persistent" group, comprised 31.7% of patients and showed little change in their antibody levels up to 180 days. The last group, or the "delayed response" group, covered only 1.8% of subjects and included those who showed a marked rise in neutralizing antibodies during late convalescence.

I think you don't understand how the immune system works. I don't blame you because most people don't.
Antibodies will fade away after a few months, whether through vaccination or infection, both will fade. However, T and B memory cells will be stored in the bone marrow and will be on standby to produce the antibody again once the virus is present in the body.
This explains why reinfection is possible but likely will not cause serious illness because the antibody would be quickly produced before it got worse.
Correct except for one caveat. There is no reinfection. Rather, you may be infected with a new strain.I think you don't understand how the immune system works. I don't blame you because most people don't.
