What helped you the most when you just started?

The very first thing was definitely education. I didnt know enough about how the markets worked or the technical details.
Next was sim trading to get myself going.
Then was good sources of fundamental news, and a few other resources, so I could find what I wanted quickly.
Last was going back to step 1.
Take this with a grain of salt though, Im no expert yet. Thats why Im here

Most public libraries, Alfing, have ''How To Make Money in Stocks, by William O Neil'' AMZN has his Selling Socks Short -plenty of good charts. QQQ went up $50 to $120+/, bull market 1999; then bear market went done about 80%, to less than $20. Up +hit $177+........2018 Great candle chart read; its a big advantage to print that chart-could do it again; even if not exactly

Hall of Fame is pretty good. Where are all these "experienced and successful ES traders here" hang out? Asking about thread/subsection.

Imho, the best threads are not in the HOF. They require digging and the creative progressive use of keywords. The earlier older wiser traders contributed at a time when social media was in it's infancy and the use of feedback through 'likes' was seldomly used.

Finding posts that resonate and searching through a member's posting history quickly determine where there is substance and depth and lack there of.

Finding posts that resonate?? Things that sounds easy always resonate with many people, but it doesn't make it useful, or profitable.

Case in point, I've asked you many times to produce some shred of evidence that your method shows profitability. I've asked for win rate, average wins, average losses, anything to get a sense of what your complex system can deliver. And you have disregarded this request every single time. Why is that?

Imagine that, a guy selling even books that doesn't have a clue when the dust settles.

Before anyone offers advice on how to trader, perhaps that person should share their own results and call out some trades for evaluation.
