Which gets back to all the research regarding "natural herd immunity" and disease which came out of the study of the measles epidemic in Baltimore. Doctors noticed that when measles reached a high level in the community of near 50% then the spread started to slow. However they never were able to reach a level with natural immunity in the community where the spread would stop.

This is because diseases can never naturally reach a level of spread in a community where the transmission is stopped. The level that a community must reach even to slow the disease down means that the community has suffered a terrible amount of death and tragedy to get there -- as in the situation with Baltimore and the measles. Or with COVID in highly infected areas. COVID also has the problem that immunity after infection lasts only for a period of months

The ONLY way to stop the transmission of a disease and eliminate it is through vaccination which raises the level of "herd immunity" in a community to the level required to stop the disease via antibody immunity generated by the vaccinations.

Anti-vaxxers are welcome in some states (shown in red). Best for them to move to those states if they have not already done so.

Covid-19 is a game changer. In about a year...we'll know if there are correlations with states that allow anti-vaxxers in their infections, hospitalizations, deaths statistics versus those that have higher percentage of residents being vaccinated.
