What happened there was that the dem power brokers inside the beltway discovered that their party was in fact much further to the left than they thought and was exactly as far left as the republicans said they were. Bernie was very much on the verge of getting the nomination and Jim Clyburn and others huddled to put together a plan to pull the plug on Bernie because they knew he was not electable. or thought he wasn't anyway. If they had to swallow hard and dust off Joe and prop him up then they would do that and they did.
Otherwise the dems had gone full Bernie in what they supported.
No. I recall before the primaries even kicked off I told you directly that the dem primary doesn’t begin in earnest until South Carolina. You however claimed to have your finger on the pulse of the democrats and declared Elizabeth Warren the heiress apparent.
Iowa and New Hampshire don’t even kind of remotely resemble the democrat party on whole.
