as b1s2 pointed out, I had no idea these type of commodities would behave in the way he explained earlier. It makes complete sense.
And your account made was also right on. Still, I had to follow through with my original plan, for better or for worse. At least I am getting very good at following my plans though. I definitely need to look at the long term trend seriously and stop being mr hero.

I've follow some of your posts and can say I am jealous that I don't know options the way I would like to. I use to trade the intraday environments but over the last year or so have migrated primarily to the longer term swing and position trades. Less stress, the same end profit and more free time to play. I have some friends that trade in the same commodities rings I do and they clean up on the options end as well as the Futures. I can read the long term or short term trends like the back of my hand so can you suggest a starting place for me to learn simple straight forward options tecniques? Thanks in advance.
