do you use a stock screener like trade-ideas or anything to decide which stock you want to trade that day?

I used to be a Trade-Ideas customer but it just confused me. I ended up trading futures and a staple of about 30 stocks that I'm familiar with.
 
Not much today but I did scalp a large amount of shares. Traded the HSI and SPI last night (not counted in this PnL)

Yes, I use Tradestation radar to scan for setups. I am also testing out blocks.

really good day.started out trading the QQQQs at the open which went well.

moved on to the airlines and scalped and traded them. might have been a better idea to get more greedy with the trades but timing is so important if your putting on large size.

what a crazy day. the market sold off like people hated stocks. I did grab a little bit of it with selling some QQQQ OTM puts.

I am not happy with my trading today. Was too aggressive too quickly with UAUA and then walked away too slow on the first run up but too fast on the second run up. I will be glad when I get to do more shorting from overboughts on a regular basis so that I will have a better feel.

I did trade last night in both the HSI and SPI and made a small amount but not counting in PnL in this journal

I bought some RICK as a swing/long term trade @ 6.70

sold QQQQ NOV 27 puts @ 1.03. swing trade

Great day. traded most of the day. Traded both to the short side and the long side.

I also made a few bucks again in the HSI and SPI last night (until my wife said lets watch a movie, watched the movie with her and then traded some more....LOL)

I did close out of RICK but put in another bid around the $6 price point.

Watched GE float around 18 and thought it would break but it didnt. Thinking about writting some puts if it does fail 18 on a spike down as I think its about as safe of stock as you can buy in long term
