Quote from tradingjournals:

If you wrote take profits at break of 110.50, I would have started to think you are reading my mind, but you are getting close.

Good call!

Now should we short the rally as it gets near 111?

:)

can't say.

i am still in awe of my own great call :)

You should be in awe of the call because it was a great spot to cover! There is one little detail though: what if you are the mover of the market? Did you grow feathers lately by any chance when others were being plucked? :-)

It is a great great call. You could have gone long. Congrats!

Congrats!

don't have any feathers unfortunately :(

may trading Gods look favorable upon us more often!
Amen

Anyone have an opinion on the homebuilders? Stocks like BZH, PHM, HOV and DHI. They are pulling back from a big move the other day and I'm thinking of picking some up to put in my IRA for the long term.
They're cheap and they could be finally bottoming here.
Thanks in advance

Kmax:

1. What makes you think there is anyone in here who knows anything about markets? :)

2. I am glad you have an IRA. I hope it has a million eggs in it already, and if not sometime soon. Do you have options privileges in your IRA?

I assume you mean the homebuilding stocks and not the companies, otherwise some people may answer with jokes such as, "they are not good otherwise the pikers place would not be leaking," and others might be quick to add that "it shows that they have potential because of potential future business repairing the leaks in the pikes".

Cheers!

I am more concerned about a sharp rise tomorrow, so I hope you will be right so that I can hedge to neutral and reverse if needed, as I have some shorts. A sharp rise would make sense to confuse the bears now that the bulls are "confused"?
