I don't know of any underfunded schools, either. They just look like the ultimate in union featherbedding to me.
What does it take for a kid to learn to read? A teacher and a book. But they tell us they need more money. What a laugh. You could cut these school's funding by 90% and they should still have enough money for a teacher and a book. Enough to learn how to read.
The bozo keeps referring to 'under-funded' inner city schools. Actually those schools oftentimes get a lot more $$$ per student than a middle class suburban school. Why? because students test scores are so low that a ton of extra resources are brought in ... paid tutors, resource teachers focusing on specific areas, extra mental health counselors, a 2nd school psychologist, and so on. Again, I speak from experience where Mr. Know It All throws out uninformed drivel.
