Waste in Federal Government

The one thing the Republican mind can't show is that his executive orders were egregious in any way, hence the lawsuit is frivolous.

You keep going on about executive orders in this thread about Government Waste. Folks here, including myself, have already stated that the lawsuit is absurd. Why do you keep whining about it incessantly?

I don't think Obama has given any executive orders that have been out of the ordinary or worthy of going after. He made a bunch of changes to the ACA - most of which to get out the various not-so-few issues that were overtly harmful - but he did it for political reasons as much as anything.

Now, if he uses an executive order for Amnesty, I think you'll see a public outcry over that. But so far, all he's done is threaten that. A big issue is his threats to use his "pen" all the time, which I don't think you heard from other Presidents nearly as much. That's the sound bytes continually picked up that do him more harm than anything else.

I'm going to keep this thread to detail all the waste in Federal Government. Feel free to add yours - from the right or the left. The topic comes up often, and moonbats like Ricter and Futurecurrents will tell you the government is efficient or that the cost of rooting out waste/fraud is more than the benefit, or that there just isn't all that much fraud.
...
This has the potential to be the longest thread in ET history!

Yes! But thus far, we are wasting posts on other topics~! :)
I'm going to submit the Department Of Ed as a waste of fed money as evidenced by the apparent lack of reading comprehension...the proof being all the posts that have noting to do with the thread topic.

Not only that but 11th grade test scores are the same now as before the Dept of ED was created.
By that metric anyway it's a total failure.

The Teadiots sure don't like being called out for the frivolous lawsuit regarding this so called "lawless" and "out of control" President.

You sure you people want to talk about govt spending despite voting for Bush twice? And no, noone believes the faux conservative outrage regarding his spending; even the Koch brothers are silent when it comes to defense spending.

Wow, even when we agree with what you posted, you still get shrill and whiny.

I didn't vote for Bush twice. I also don't agree with a huge military industrial complex, or support large military spending. I'm very isolationist.

Did you want to try again? I'm sure if you keep prying, you'll find something you can shriek about that is actually true.

You also might want to correct that chart - hard to understand what it's point is without any labels at all.

John "Boner" and company are not part of the Tea Party, moron. In fact they despise the TP as much as you do for mostly the same reasons. How does it feel to agree with the GOP on something?

first we need to figure out what "NOTING" means :)

That chart is supposed to be Total Federal Expenditures. What the heck happened to the embedding on this site?

Oh and now people are claiming Tea Party status to distance themselves from Bush. Oh yes, the "let's get rid of all public debt, essentially wiping out the Treasury market, and instead we'll just print money to finance things" crowd. It's obvious you people didn't consider the logistics of your platform.
