If the IP's match up , he is cooked. I don't believe with his 'talents' he would not have set up adequate security.
Read a couple of ET posts on Google. Seems to me by the language he used could very well fit the person to pull this crap. Also seems to be a little dilusional.
My gut feeling is that he may be at the end of his 'lot' and did this to actually get caught if he could be but, at the same time,see how far he could go. Wonder if he did this thing elsewhere.
Next step on the road to hell he will be possibly seeking a "permanent solution for a permanent illness" and put himself out of his misery.
Yeah, it happened over many days and the IPs match. You can't make a case for hijacking. Also it was done under many different aliases and bounced through proxies. He got sloppy and used his own nick when he assumed it wouldn't be caught.
It obviously speaks of a mental disturbance, but it's no excuse and he's apparently a user of these "images". I don't consider myself naive, but it was shocking, even knowing that it's out there.
The argument that it was for "shock value" is completely BS as you can never know their intent. If you're in possession you're summarily f*cked.

Congrats to Baron. It sounds like a very solid case. He won't stand a chance. That is very good news. Hopefully the state he is in has some good judges for cybercrime.
I have no idea why he targeted whom he did but I only had one post in the same thread as him, and no arguments. It was probably random.
It would be nice to get clarification on his motives. What is it about Joe that pissed him off? Or about ET? What are his motives in general? Any clues?

I don't know this EMR from shinola, but isn't it entirely possible that someone used his computer and IP? I have had offsite computer techs take over my machine to make repairs and they had complete control of the system. These are serious charges so before we get a rope we need to be damned sure this is the varmint who needs to swing. I do find it odd that he hasn't gotten on ET to respond. If someone would accuse me of this and I didn't do it I would be screaming like a stuck pig.

I went to a thread "4 hours sleep" where this guy was also into and sent a download that somebody saw.
Is it possible that although I did not see it or 'downloaded' it ,could it still be on my computer without me knowing? Others may also be thinking the same thing. So I hope somebody can give us an answer.
I already got my sister to do the browser cache thing, but I still feel a little unsure that everything is ok.

You're already looking at 5-10...why in the hell would you involve your sister in this?? Incinerate your machine and head down to old Mexico until this blows over.

As long as my computer is clean that is all I am worried about. Crazy things happen,don't they?
