I'm no fan of Wallymart but think what our world would be like without these low prices. Would any of us pay $75 for a dress shirt that you can buy from them for $25?
Also, I've sen information that indicates that over half of what they sell is made or grown in the US-remember they are now the largest grocery chain and most of that stuff comes from the US.
The point of the post, aside from drawing out the strong dislike many hold for them, is that they get their job done efficiently. A report came out today showing that our HS Seniors just scored the worst ever on the reading part of the SAT. Time to either shutdown the Dept of Education or maybe instead put some Wally people in charge.
