Virginia Tech Shootings ..Terrorists ???

Quote from TheDudeofLife:

Maybe he came to America to have the opportunity to live out his fantasy to go on a Halo 2 style rampage. His country may not glorify violence, but he could have been exposed to things that do, which warped his mind. I would have thought gun laws in the United States would require citizenship to purchase a handgun.

How about this guy was born a psychotic killer. And psychotic killers would find a weapon regardless of the local laws.

Keep reaching....

This guy was a south korean national living here on a student visa. Not an American who "grew up in a country that glorifies violence".

What a bunch of maroons....

The Australian Victim Disarmament Order

Last Updated: Dec 18, 2006
One year ago, Australian gun owners were forced to surrender for destruction 640,381 personal firearms

based on a full 12 months of data: Australia-wide, homicides up 3.2 percent. Australia-wide, assaults up 8.6 percent.

Australia-wide, armed-robberies up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent.) In the state of Victoria, homicides-with-firearms are up 300 percent. (Up until the government gun grab, figures for the previous 25 years had shown a steady decrease in homicides with firearms, as well as armed robberies, Mr. Tidswell notes.)

there has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the elderly, now left with no means to protect themselves. (One wonders whether the prime minister's personal bodyguards gave up their military-style weapons.)

Short run phenomena.

Destiny ????? A 75 year old professor was one of those murdered yesterday. He was a holocaust survivor who moved to Israel but felt it wasn't safe enough, then moved to good old usa. Murdered by a crazy on holocaust remembrance day !

So technically this guy is a foreign TERRORIST right ?

yea I guess so... But our military is already in South Korea. The terrorist label would be much juicier if he were North Korean.

I have a couple of questions:

- If he was from the UK would you be asking if technically he was a foreign terrorist?

- If he was and American would you be asking if technically he was a domestic terrorist?

Essentially, I'm curious about the criteria you are using to categorize someone as a terrorist.

Thank you.

I don't know what the law is on this, but it makes sense that foreigners not be allowed to buy guns as easily as citizens. How can the gun dealer perform the Brady Law check on a non-citizen?

There's a saying:

You attract more Bee's with honey then you do with Shit.

No, the saying is: "You attract more flies with shit than you do with honey."
