Gun crime is extremely rare in Britain, and handguns are completely illegal. The ban is so strictly enforced that Britain's Olympic pistol shooting team is barred from practicing in its own country.

Britain's 46 homicides involving firearms was the lowest total since the late 1980s. New York City, with 8 million people compared to 53 million in England and Wales, recorded at least 579 homicides last year.

Back in the day, we went to work at the shop and you worked with a bunch of guys. Now management needs to know "who" this bunch of guys are. "Ahmmm yes, we have two African -Americans, 1 native American, 1 Asian 3 Latino's, 5 Caucasians"

Point being, our govt has decided to segregate our society into groups, keep this segregation in the news, politicians pander to the now segregated groups. How can we remain as one if the govt keeps dividing us into groups? I think it made matters worse.

I do understand your argument, and yes I believe the realistic games cause an X amount of desensitizing.

I'm not arguing anything really, I simply stated I would not be shocked to find out if the pyscho-path was a video-game addict.
The question isn't what triggered the guy's rage, but how he dealt with it.

Many of the games today could double as pyscho-path training simulators. Kind of like how flight simulators are actually used by professional pilots in training.

If you think "Grand Theft Auto" contributes only in an neglible way to how young people deal with their frustrations today, I think you are under-estimating it.

Maybe he came to America to have the opportunity to live out his fantasy to go on a Halo 2 style rampage. His country may not glorify violence, but he could have been exposed to things that do, which warped his mind. I would have thought gun laws in the United States would require citizenship to purchase a handgun.
