Here’s what people don’t talk about interns of Hillary funding the dnc and why it is easy to say her campaign conspired with the dnc: she had to fund it because sanders wanted a free ride. If he would’ve pulled his weight nobody would have anything to say.

Sanders paid nothing for those caucuses and debates. He got a total free ride. Clinton funded large aspects of her opponents campaign. He got voter list and donor lists and the dnc defending his positions against republicans all courtesy of Hillary Clinton.

The whole time he was in front of the cameras complaining about the dnc he was behind the scenes saying give me more free stuff.

Nope. The argument that the Clinton campaign received special treatment because of their funding arrangement is wrong. The funding arrangement was because the dnc was poorly managed and Sanders wouldn’t help fund it but wanted all the free stuff that comes from it.

No. She violated federal elections laws in her convoluted scheme to circumvent donation and reporting laws by requiring that the dnc pass through to her all the funds raised at the state level.

She needs to be investigated and prosecuted.

This is just one more issue for a special investigator to look into.

Note that person heading up the DNC in the 2016 campaign is the same person who headed up Clinton's 2012 Campaign and the same person who immediately went to work with the Clinton campaign after being fired from the DNC when emails were exposed showing how she was working against Bernie. Nice, unbiased show they are running there at the DNC.

My understanding is that it was thru her indirect control of DNC money, apparently she was personally responsible for raising much of it. And Wasserman-Schultz seemed to make decisions as though she was personally working directly for Ms Clinton, even though she wasn't officially. And a major factor was Hillary tying up all the super delegates very early. I think the Super delegate thing is a DNC thing. What I mean is i think the DNC decides the Super Delgate policy and how it will work. If you are in on the ground floor of party politics than you could influence the process to help yourself or your candidate. I am not a member of any political party myself. The one person who could tell us exactly what transpired and how hillary so successfully tied up the nomination would be Sanders, and he doesn't seem to want to talk about it that much now that the election is over. Bernie was an outsider, so he might have been a little naive to think that popularity among voters was the most important criterion. On the other hand maybe he was intentionally misled by the DNC Brass into thinking he had a chance as that would make Hillary's nomination look legit. . .

In the end I think the DNC just very badly miscalculated. They probably thought Trump had no chance, so any Democrat could beat him, and it was Hillarys turn after Barrack had taken the nomination from her. .

The truth is you have to play party politics for years to expect to get the nomination. Both parties have nominated candidates that had little chance of being elected because they had paid their dues working for the party and it was their turn. My impression is this happens mostly when it is a foregone conclusion that the election is lost anyway. An example would be Bob Dole, or John McCain.

I tend to lose sight of the fact that we are not much of a democracy at the Federal level anymore. We would be a very democratic Republic if only the House was not so heavily Gerrymandered. The House is much more "democratic" than the Senate. For example, two senators in California represent almost 40 million people. Two senators in Delaware represent almost one million people. All four senators have the exact same voting rights in the Senate. The election method used for Senators and Presidential Electors are much more similar. They are both elected based on each state's popular vote.

That's true. I shouldn't have said appointed as in appointed by the legislatures. I should have said elected by the legislators in each state.

I always chuckled when George Bush was running around claiming we were bringing democracy to Iraq. I thought why would advocate that before you'd tried it yourself to see if you liked it.

But there are rules among the thieves. Bernie is not supposed to be trying to get a cut of the free stuff Hillary stole from the state party organizations. He is supposed to be out stealing his own stuff.

Same with the stuff Hillary and Bill stole from the Clinton Foundation. That's theirs. Bernie and Jane need to go off and find their own game- you know, like maybe, defrauding a bank in Vermont or something.
