Vendor question

...but I want to disabuse you and anyone else of the notion that it's an easy matter of just checking IP's.

Liquid hot MAG-MAAAH just disabused me? That seems abusive! lol!

I'ma take the red-eye back home and go to bed!

Even... if a person/vendor has multiple aliases...I Still can't imagine it would make much of a difference...

My question was asked in a generic way, not just about book selling. There could be a vendor selling a trading room access. Now if 3 of his aliases are backing him that "sure, we are making money there", you see the problem?

How many aliases can 1 vendor have and can they pump penny stocks???
You know why I am askin'.... :)

A vendor is allowed to have one username, and that is the username he uses for his vendor account. In terms of pumping penny stocks, anybody who attempts that, vendor or otherwise, needs to worry about the SEC because they are the ones who ultimately would drop the hammer on something like that.

Sure, but that kind of problem is very generic as you say, and would apply to just about any interactive service out there, not just ET. But I will say this: People who create a few shill aliases to promote themselves rarely end up being successful, especially over the long term. The universe has a way of weeding people like that out of the system eventually. Besides, most consumers are smart enough nowadays to see right through that kind of activity.

I also noticed his posts looked familiar, Truetype made the following comment about my posts on the Surf Report thread:

More to the point, if his strategy worked as claimed, he'd open his own trading journal rather than free-riding on OP's pageviews.

it is obvious that it was MarketSurfer/Goodboy writing the message as no else would care about thread pageviews.

Nope. First, i don't care for the texas timex, and second, my shirts are not custom made. Not to mention the skin tone and even my freckles are completely different.

Knock off the trolling.

You guys pattern recognition skills are very weak. No wonder you lose all the time.
