The estimated Infection Fatality Rate for COVID-19 in the U.S. is 0.55%. The proven Case Fatality Rate rate for COVD-19 is over 2% worldwide.

You and jem can go try to do some math based on facts rather than fantasy.

Besides your "proven" covid fatality rate is way overstating the real fatality rate, which was closer to the estimated fatality rate in the US, and which has gone down where the elders have been vaccinated.

The fatality rate information is based on proven facts. Only the recent COVID vaccinations have dropped the fatality rates. Yet the lower recent COVID fatality rates with vaccination are STILL 4 TIMES WORSE than the worst week in the recent bad flu seasons such as 2018/2019.
 
Yeah, except we are talking about how kids react to covid vs Flu hence your arguments have no value, which you know. You also know the numbers are very different for kids, otherwise you would have already posted estimated fatality rates for kids.
But what you know and can read is a long way from the diarrhea coming out of your mouth or fingertips. It´s an ode to human resistance to even the nastiest diseases you actually don´t choke on it.

Once again --- here is the Flu related mortality for children in the U.S. for recent years by the CDC...
The recent peak (worst case) was 199 deaths in the 2019/2020 flu season

Flu season in 2017/2018 saw almost 3 times the number of deaths of the one this article chose to discuss. And with 61000 flu deaths that season 32 for the worst week doesn t make sense, see cdc link. 32 doesn t make sense either in the flu season the article u chose to quote btw. Plus deaths with vaccinations are now lower than in a regular flu week. 0.55% estimate covid death sound about right in a unvaccinated first world population, u are inventing it is an estimate for a population with the elders vaccinared.

So u are chosing dodgy links, misinterpret them, and altogether avoid the issue discussed. Good work.
