Israel sees probable link between Pfizer vaccine and myocarditis cases


Israel’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday it had found the small number of heart inflammation cases observed mainly in young men who received Pfizer’s (PFE.N) COVID-19 vaccine in Israel were likely linked to their vaccination.

Pfizer said in a statement that it was aware of the Israeli observations of myocarditis and said no causal link to its vaccine had been established.

It said adverse events are thoroughly reviewed and Pfizer meets regularly with the Vaccine Safety Department of the Israeli Ministry of Health to review data.

In Israel, 275 cases of myocarditis were reported between December 2020 and May 2021 among more than 5 million vaccinated people, the ministry said in disclosing the findings of a study it commissioned to examine the matter.

Most patients who experienced heart inflammation spent no more than four days in the hospital and 95% of the cases were classified as mild, according to the study, which the ministry said was conducted by three teams of experts.

The study found "there is a probable link between receiving the second dose (of Pfizer) vaccine and the appearance of myocarditis among men aged 16 to 30," it said in a statement.According to the findings, such a link was observed more among men aged 16 to 19 than in other age groups.

A U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advisory group last month recommended further study of the possibility of a link between myocarditis and mRNA vaccines, which include those from Pfizer and Moderna Inc.

In a May 24 meeting, the CDC advisory group said that the data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) - which relies on individuals to report results - showed a higher than expected number of observed myocarditis or pericarditis cases in 16– to 24-year-olds.

In Canada, a physician called Jean Marc Benoit has launched a petition alongside a Member of Parliament, Derek Sloan to suspend COVID-19 vaccinations for young people. That petition now has more than 25,000 signatures.

They have received dozens of reports from physicians and nurses working in hospitals with COVID patients, part of the immunization campaign in Canada, saying that young people are becoming seriously ill after taking this vaccine, quote, “The COVID-19 vaccination is effectively human experimentation,” the petition reads.

Meanwhile, Germany, a country that does take science seriously, is now recommending that healthy young people do not take the vaccine, that they avoid it. Period. Because it’s too dangerous.

In this country, doctors have noticed as well, the F.D.A. and the CDC have noticed. The CDC is holding an emergency meeting to discuss these numbers, which two of our own governments vaccine reporting systems confirm are real.

I actually read about the heart inflamation link to covid vaccines in young people several times already, probably in both mainstream spanish and english news feed.

Missed the news about Germany recommending healthy young people not to be vaccinated. Will check, that's a good news, I m worrying how they are going to make life so hard to unvaccinated youth so they do have to take the vaccine.

This morning was announced ( not sure it s oficial, the news came from a tweet from Portuguese Prine Minister or top oficial there, that vaccinated families could travel across Europe along their unvaccinated kids this summer without the kids needing a Covid test. Kids of unvaccinated parebts do need a test though, maybe with a age limit. Suspect this kind of disgusting tactics are going to be used going forward, to push most people to take part in this massive and risky experiment, and not as the control group...

The heart inflammation appears to be higher among young people, so higher than the stat pushed forward by GWB, while he appears to still be at loss with the fatality rate, especially among below 70 y old folks.

Let´s see in a few months if testing get better and we find more asymptomatic, a study came a few days ago (link below, although I haven´t read that particular one), they discovered antibodies to covid in people who had gone through covid with light symptoms or asymptomatic, they expect those antibodies to be long lasting and act strongly against reinfection, while methods available on the market can´t detect them yet.

Not anti wax myself, but would much rather wait, see which vaccines are safer (they´ll probably come up with better vaccines over the next couple of years) and if I need one at all (been grappling with a whole bunch of people just before they tested positive for covid over the last year, so suspect I was immune before the beginning of the outbreak or got a very light case of it)
