Posting your credit card on the internet would require me to cancel the card, have a new card issued. Not a huge deal but still a pain in the butt.
Letting a random waiter or the patron in line behind the waiter see your credit card number is nothing like putting it out there for the entire world to Google.

Out of curiosity...do you have a car alarm, home security, own a gun for protection???
I'm not too worry about someone stealing my credit card to make a purchase...
My credit card company can easily fix that.
I'm worry about someone using my credit card info to gain access to more important private information...
As mentioned earlier in this thread...it can be used as a foot in the door sort'uv speak.
