USA! USA! USA! Winning the coronavirus race

I agree that you can't use an apples to apples, but this is as best as we have. We certainly shouldn't be using a chart as was posted in the OP! If the narrative being pushed (by the OP) is that the US is "winning the case count war" then that's horseshit. And it needs to be called out as horseshit...
Ahem.

But we are "winning".

All fine by Easter. Beautiful!
This graph is worthless. The Y-axis is neither log nor linear. And it is number of cases. You have to correct for population before anything makes sense and ideally for population density, but that's quite difficult to figure out how to do it properly and to collect the necessary data but I'm sure it exists.. .

It shows which country (USA USA USA) was quickest to 100,000 cases after 1st 100 was "achieved". No need for log/linear etc to see that.

There is no question that nationally the U.S. response has been uncoordinated, haphazard, insufficient and ineffective compared to what other developed nations have done.

The U.S. response to Covid-19 stands in stark contrast to The U.S. Public Health Response to SARS . [see for example: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK92460/]

Why Trump spent so much time and $$$ building physical wall between US and Mexico?

He should have spent effort to build virtual

east wall facing Atlantic Ocean,
west wall facing Pacific Ocean,
north wall facing Canada,
South wall facing Mexico,
sky wall facing the Sun and Moon and Milky Way Galaxy

to prevent covid virus from entering USA in early 2020.
These 5 virtual walls are extremely important but he failed to build it.

The Pope didn't like the physical wall.
But I am sure he would understand the need for virtual walls.

anyway it is too late. Too much virus has already entered USA and virus are multiplying at super exponential rate.
