I agree that it is not out of the question. Right now he is too strong and they are way too timid to try anything. They will try to make life miserable for him, then pounce on some perceived scandal to try to drive him out, Nixon-style. As with Nixon, they know they will have the full power of the media behind them, whipping the gullible public into a lynch mob. But things will have to go south pretty badly to make that possible. Nixon was saddled with a war that the country despised, an oil boycott and a lousy economy.

Trump supporters have shown steadfast loyalty, sticking by the orange-faced man through thick and thin. If they perceive Trump is being ousted unfairly, expect trouble.
 
Trump has repeatedly said, campaigned on, and currently preparing - DIRECT TAX AT WESTERN UNION for remittances sent back to Mexico.

That's right, my anxiety-prone brethren at P&R
