Are you saying that some people on anonymous message boards don't become too emotionally involved with certain topics as to lose their perspective?
What does anonymity have to do with it?
Ever go to a sporting event, and see a fan yelling and screaming at another fan they don't even know? Ever see them yelling at an umpire they don't even know?
Ever seen a person on the freeway in traffic get pissed off at the way an anonymous person is driving, and honks their horn in a useless and emotional manner?
People get emotionally involved with issues, and then respond in emotional manners.
Heck, I have even seen Elite members stalk other Elite members, following them from thread to thread in an obsessive manner try and prove some meaningless point......
RSlike Bush and Cheney? so they say. maybe... if you take out PATRIOT ACT I and II, total information awareness, the new cabinet position, federalized airports, massive homeland dept. and spending increases, global extended-term 'liberation' and arab reconstruction at whim, etc., etc., etc. and that's just the first three years.
there is no such thing as a politician who is for smaller or less controlling government.

Man, another one. Hope you have a sphygmomanometer kit handy while you interact with ET so you don't blow a gasket.
A sporting event is a live, in person event and the opposing party is; 1. close by and visible; 2. one is generally surrounded by supporters with the same objectives. The umpire is a common object for vitriolic behavior, and he is clearly physically visible, but more important to the cause of high running emotions, he has ultimate power over the ongoing events more than anyone else.
The road situation is again live and in person with the added addition of a territorial dispute coupled with the threat of physical harm.
An anonymous message board has diluted and distant few if any of these situations. The weapons at hand can only manifest themselves as words that appear on a computer screen. Therefore, the key plan of "battle" is to try and make those words as convincing and persuasive as possible. Failing that, one will make last ditch attempts to use other arrows in the quiver such as shame, ridicule and humor.
To "win" in this "road rage" game, excitability would seem detrimental to success and given the fact that any given poster could in reality be some 78 year old grandmother, I find that becoming emotionally charged over any issue presented here a fairly ridiculous waste of energy. What happens in your house?

You can deny that it happens, that people get emotionally wrapped on message boards...but you would be wrong.
Care to bet what clinical psychologists will say on the issue?
Oh, while we are at it, we can ask the psychologists about internet stalkers like yourself....and your "unemotional" relationship with RS.
Internet stalker, eh? Mr. RSX.X simply could not answer some basic questions about his claimed combat history. In responding to his many, many other prolific postings, he left a trail of insufficiently answered questions. Was I emotionally charged? I have to say no, the answers to his credibility were so obvious that one merely had to point them out.
I don't deny it happens at all, looking at your posts in particular. I have pointed out the folly of such emotions, which are better channelled into more creative writing (which can only emanate from a better creative thought process.
If you personally are getting highly emotionally charged over posts on the anonymous message board Elite Trader, I would say that is perhaps not a healthy reaction, either mentally or physically.
You can claim to be unemotionally charged where RS is concerned. That your mission to point out his errors was prompted by a dispassionate desire for truth by anonymous posters on a message board is laughable. That makes a lot of sense for a sane and unemotional man to devote so much time and energy to correct mistakes by an anonymous person, right?
On the one hand you say it is folly to assume emotionalism on message boards:

How in the hell can "emotions run too high" on an anonymous message board? None of the participants have even met each other. Hate to see your sphygmomanometer readings after some total stranger accidently cuts you off in traffic.
Yet you pursue RS with a vengeance seen in those who are way beyond rationality.
I am a disinterested party in your petty issues with RS, and I see emotional involvement and stalking tendencies in your behavior.
Again, let's bring in a professional psychologist and have them decide, or would you not trust anyone but yourself to evaluate your own emotionalism?
Denial is your strong suit if the answer is yes.
