US ETF - S & P 500 - A rookie mistake

I wonder are there any tools or charts that could help you calculate such risk, lets say you would enter ETF index company list and claim that there's 50% tech crash and/or 30% healthcare crash etc, and it would try to calculate ETF/index worth after such crash. In theory you could do it by yourself but it would be time-consuming.

Yes;
SPY could easily drawdown 50% /qqq=80% + they have in the past...…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

i think i see what your issue is. I have the same exact issue. Someone emailed me back and said i have to fill out a form with IB to be ALLOWED to purchase ETF's but he wasnt clear on what forms i need to fill out. My account is with US IB so i'm looking for guidance from someone in here that knows exactly WHAT form i need to fill out to be allowed to buy etf's on IB. please help someone.

Ask IB in ''Trading forum/here'' They may answer there quicker???

In IB there are forms for trading permissions under account.... If ur in IB ... to the right of the file dropdown it shows account drop down and go from there.... I did mine all online

Or you can call them... chat online as well

Buy QQQ instead. Nasdaq outperforms S&P
That. Over the last 11 years, averaged and normalized for compounding, that has been a bit over 19% return per year. Granted, that has been an unprecedented bull market and a crash is surely right around the corner, but it will come back up in time, after all that. And you can always make a strategic withdrawal until it hits bottom, either selling, or hedging with SQQQ, or both.

<EDIT> vs a little less than 13% for SPY
