I really don't get the mindset/psychology that would allow an individual to state that at this point in history. I ain't giving up my guns either, but I don't vote as an NRA proxy. I value my family's life, as I am sure you do.

Yeah I voted for Hills, and yeah, my wife's w-2 will go up $45K or so due to the GOP tax cut. I was up $28K last week so it's meaningless any way you look at it. Hillary's view toward the Russians would be dictated by donations to the Clinton Foundation.
She might have been more antagonistic, then suddenly, one day she is over that and wants to start a new chapter. Check the donations to the Foundation to understand that, along with Bubba's speaking fees in Russia.

Trump is doing double duty here, regardless of what he does or does not do.

That is to say, he is sending a message to Syria which will also be a message for North Korea. Strength or lack thereof is the only message or signal that both Syria and North Korea follow. I could add in Russia, China, and Iran too but Assad and Little Rocket Man are one-dimensional to the extreme.

This issue is “rem acu tango” as the Romans used to say. Things can go wrong quick and Trump better be careful. Not only is he forcing strong alliances among our enimies, he has also caused divisions among our allies.

There is an axis building against us because of Trump that include not only Russia, Iran and North Korea, but China too. And I would keep a very close eye on Turkey too.

You and him may think he is sending a message but he may also be playing right into their hands. Trump is easily triggered and the Russians know it.

And, don’t forget our allies don’t like Trump nor do their populations. We could find ourselves very alone, very quickly.

All of this was discussed moths ago but people like to think allies and NATO don’t matter and we can just bad mouth them. It won’t be funny if they don’t show up if Trump flies off the handle.
