Well you guessed it, I passed out and woke up to see the ES down 15 points. AAAaaargh! Now I'm in no way suggesting that I would have capitalized on it, but just the fact that I missed the opportunity really pisses me off. And this is not the first time it has happened.

I need a recipe for some kinda drink or smoothy that is strong enough and hopefully healthy too, to get me thru this period. Coffee, redbull, soda, etc., doesn't do it for me. When I used to work iron a lot of us would pop or ingest anything to make us go faster. I'd like to keep this recipe healthy and legal if possible.

Please don't laugh, this really discombobulates my trading rhythm and day. Any help...um...will help. Thanks.

exercise in the morning... possibly do a bit of cardio to wake you up :-)
 
Well, I made it through this morning. It's much easier staying awake for some reason when a position goes your way :D . Actually popped a couple of those energy packs you see at the liquor store. It'll have to do until I come up with some kinda smoothy concoction.

As for exercising or working out before the open; I seriously don't see myself running around before the bars are even closed. There's something very wrong with that picture.

Any of you other traders from Hawaii (Ken DTU, Lundy, and I know there's a few more) feel free to chime in.
 
How about keeping the Air Conditioning REALLY cold. Drinking lots of ice cold water......maybe put your feet in an ice water bath.

Sitting on ice is a desperate measure but I am sure it will work.:D

Eat some fruit as soon as you wake up. Don't eat anything but fruit until lunch. You will be surprised at how much energy it gives when you eat fruit correctly (empty stomach)
