Unvaccinated People Are Getting Priority in Expensive Treatment

Lucky for me, my dentist and those in his office are fully vaccinated. My pharmacist and those she works with are fully vaccinated. My family doctor and private doctor are fully vaccinated and the hospital of my choice requires employees to be fully vaccinated.
  • All of them did not do such for me alone...they did that for the majority of their clients or their own personal health concerns.
For example, my pharmacist, his grandmother and his mother live in his home.

He specifically told me he's now fully vaccinated because of them. He does not want to risk causing them harm if he were to be Not Vaccinated although there's a low risk for a breakthrough infection. I do not know the vaccination status of his mother and grandmother but I will assume both are fully vaccinated.

My Pharmacist, a member of my church and a close music buddy. We play a little gospel for the congregation from time to time. Out of the five of us in the group, I’m the only unvaxxed member. 3 of the five, fully vaccinated, have had breakthrough infections. Both them and their wives.

Like I said, vax status does not guarantee a covid free environment.

Never stated Covid free environment. It's not possible. Yet, I can use the services of those that require their employees to be vaccinated or employees that took a personal responsibility to be vaccinated to protect their own health or protect the health of their loved ones.

The only thing someone can do is minimize the risks via surrounding themselves with those that are vaccinated...the latter is critical in the protection of children that can not be vaccinated or anyone that can not be vaccinated via surrounding them with as many people as possible that are vaccinated.

And my point. It is possible. If you truly want to minimize the risk, mandatory routine testing, regardless of vaccine status, is the only answer.

There are multiple reasons someone doesn't want to get vaccine....a small percent are "anti-vaxxers"

This is where Biden has failed in his PR campaign.
A lot of people are very scared of needles...Yet in every anti-vaxxer story they show closeups of people getting shots....A lot of people cant watch a shot be given on TV...
Joe should comfort those people and don't accuse them of murder.

Some places that can afford such...do in fact do that on top of the vaccination requirement.

I understand enough about public health policy that the public can not manage multiple mandates being thrown their way.

As stated, Covid numbers are coming down. People need to relax a little, follow the health guidelines, and let the numbers continue to decline. It's not a time to put more mandates out there.

Reminder, we had a chance to kick Covid's ass last year but people weren't responsible to do such while other countries were...its a sad reality about the United States and Canada.

Vaccines is giving us a 2nd chance to defeat Covid. Hopefully we will not screw it up again.

You realize that hospitals make a lot more money from elective surgery patients with a lot less staffing & cost required by a hospital. ICU patients are expensive in cost and suck up staff.

When elective surgeries were cancelled wholesale due to hospitals being overrun with Covid patients --- then hospitals lost money and were laying off staff.

Covid is not a money-making scheme for hospitals --- in fact it is mostly a monetary disaster.

I'm happy to hear that hospitals are losing money with Covid-19. They do so many surgeries that aren't actually needed and kill so many people they deserve to lose money.

Yep... the unvaccinated should be last in line...

No, people who are unhealthy whether jabbed or not which is what mostly determines who runs up a giant bill and dies of Covid. Put Them Last in Line.

Cancel their insurance and let them die. Let's be as mean as we can about this.

And let's just cancel all freedoms that are left by the way. Who needs freedom anyway?
