Since few athletes public report re-infections -- as noted -- it is difficult to get the full picture of reinfections among this narrowly limited population.

Fortunately multiple countries (outside the U.S.) have properly tracked reinfections across their entire populations so we can get a very good idea of what the scope of reinfections are on a mass scale.

For instance - "Up to February 6 2022, there had been over 14.5 million primary infections and around 620,000 reinfections in England – so one reinfection for every 24 primary infections." And we should note one additional trait among the reinfections -- nearly all were not fully vaccinated. 1 in 24 peoples shows a reinfection rate of over 4% -- noting the pool of people for reinfections is limited to the unvaccinated (a small set in a country where the majority of people are vaccinated).

Anyone trying to claim that unvaccinated "natural immunity" is effective in stopping infections -- only needs to take a look at these figures in a rational manner to understand the premise is false.

I provided a screen shot of the exact Google search. I am not going to cut & paste tens of thousands of results to amuse you. Re-infection reports were very common among athletes across many sports -- especially prior the Covid vaccine being available. Everyone from bicyclists, swimmers, basketball players, soccer players, and people in many other sports. Of course we got idiot celebrities like Glen Beck who Covid twice as well.

However if you want to see a true view of reinfections -- it is best to take a look at the large-scale nation-wide data sets which are available from nations who meticulously tracked Covid cases.
