It seems he is willing to float the idea that the location of birthplaces have a possibility to change based on how he feels about them.

The whole thing is ridiculous. It comes from habitually acceding to demands of minority peoples.

If these 'monks' chose to fly on a western airline they should be made to accept the mores of the environment they have chosen to inhabit. No body MADE them book that airplane. The airline should have told them their requests could not be fulfilled.

If a family of cannibals book a flight and demand a dinner of roast babies are they going to accede to that too?

This is a path that does not have a good end.
