Uncompromising Men

It wouldn't be, but my point is that despite many bi-partisan fact finding investigations into the matters I mentioned, reps STILL believe the conspiracies, they STILL keep blabbing about them, nodding to each other like drunken loons.

There are always going to be people who believe in conspiracies. That isn't something the right is only guilty of.

But the question was asked about whether I would be convinced. So I answered it. And this is where my answer got me.

Telling the nation the entire selection is a massive fraud, and telling the nation millions of Americans should not have their vote counted is not ok. Period. Its what fascist dictators do. If Trump had any decency, he'd have waited until the first count was done and if he wanted to launch any recounts and other legal grounds he wanted. Without the bs.

Look, we all knew he planned on doing this before even one vote was counted, unless he won. The fact that some of you can't sniff out what is actually happening is on you, it seems gullible.

You're talking about what Trump did/said. Nowhere in this thread or anything in any other thread have I supported what Trump said. Take up your complaints with him.

Who counts the ballots, Tsing? Just Democrats?

In Pennsylvania, the elected officials - all of which are democrat in Philly. The person who defied the court order is on record for several times making very public comments about the defeat of Trump. If you want transparency (which is what we are talking about), then this really looks bad. That's all I'm saying.

Again, that's if you care to consider it. I'm aware most of you don't.

i wonder why there are so many people who cannot imagine that trump lost. he "lost" 4 years ago when hrc got about 3 million more votes. now after all he did in those 4 years he loses again because biden will have about 4 million more votes.

-- what excactly is so strange about it? many dem. voters voted per mail because of covid. because dem. voters are more intelligent and so they took the safer option.

-- what i absolutely can't understand is why so many people STILL voted for trump after all. i expected an epic landslide with AT LEAST 10 million more votes for biden.

but hey - this is a great weak for the world. good luck everyone!

Yes, the shocker of the election was how tight the race was. Biden did get I believe 4 million more votes though. I'll admit I gave Trump almost no chance to win and will never underestimate the potential for the American people to make bad choices in elections. In my opinion, Americans ( and possibly the world ) escaped a lot of damage here and to that we can be thankful.

I will say that I believe YOU, about your views, and acceptance of evidence and reality.

But the problem of the conspiracy believers is huge. Why wouldn't it be? This is a stressful time for Americans, aging boomers, fading prospects, highly stratified, losing so much on so many fronts. Conspiracies are popular because they are another, free "opiate of the masses".

At this point, posting that a massive fraud took place is putting a lot of faith in Trump and his team that isn't warranted.

Can you point to where I said a massive fraud took place? Because I'm not able to find it.

That seems unlikely. Could you provide evidence that no one from the other party is involved in the count?

And speaking of Pennsylvania:

Thanks, man.

But we - as a country - knew we were going into an election that would probably be contested. On top of this we did unprecedented amounts of mail in voting which, if we are honest with ourselves, is simply less secure than normal in-person voting. I know, pandemic. I'm not saying whether we should have or shouldn't have. But what we didn't do is ensure that the process was open and transparent - far more than any other time in history. Which is what we should have done.

Had we done that, then only the really crazy people who believe in contrails and lizard people would be the ones saying Trump didn't lose. Now, because of the clusterfuck, half the country will.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Provide evidence that no one from the other party is involved? From the republicans or the democrats?

As for the link you provided, I'm not questioning why it took so long. It took so long because mail in ballots weren't counted until election day - that was stated how it was going to be in advance and if the GOP had a problem with it, they could have filed complaints in the state legislature. They did not, as I am aware.
