It wasn't a shooting star because it lasted way too long to be so dim and it was constant light...not a flash. Lastly, it couldn't have been a satellite because it reversed course. My best guess is a military plane with cockpit light on and flashing lights off, but as fast as it turned, I think I'd have heard it. I'll never know what it was...
