I'm a deplorable and proud of it. But you, you can't handle the truth, hurt your girly feelings huh ...
No hurt feelings when someone resorts to childish name calling. When that happens, I know where I stand and where they stand.

1. Because the individuals who are coming aren't in a position to change their own countries. Their own countries are stuck becaue of a civil war, corrupt beauracracy, or stagnant social structure. Most immigrants come here to build a better life than they could have and are willing to work hard for it. That's the American way. And America is better off for it.
2. Religious Extremism is this case is anyone who uses an extremely literal and often extra-literal translation of religious documents to oppress other people. There are LOTS of Christian extremists in this country. There are many in Europe too. Should we blanket ban all Christians from America because of those extremists.
I'm also an American with an EE from a decent school, and I hire the same. It's virtually impossible to hire someone like you or I for less than twice what I'd pay to hire a civil or mechanical engineer with the same background. That's a classic shortage situation. You like that obviously, it allows you to earn far more than others with similar background and education (and so do all our fellow EEs at IEEE!). Bit it's suboptimal from an economics perspective, especially when you have a ready supply to ease the shortfall.Exactly. As an American electrical engineer with a degree from a good school, my services don't come cheap. Too bad, tech companies. If you think that is an easy degree to get, try it...
The IEEE debunked the whole fake "American Tech Worker Shortage bs:" http://spectrum.ieee.org/at-work/education/the-stem-crisis-is-a-myth. What is true is that tech companies don't want to pay for American tech workers.
1. It's all about mindset. The don't want any change there. The change always comes from the people at the bottom. There is a good reason why the Western people ( AKA Christians ) are successful and they are not. The reason is the mindset. Whom are they running from? From the Americans or from themselves?
2. What is Islamic extremism & why? Or maybe it does not exist as was indicated by Obama.
1. Many stay and try to make their home countries better. I'm pretty sure you haven't contributed to making America the greatest country in the world - not as much as many of the muslim and even illegal immigrants have.
2. Why the pivot in your argument about semantics?
1. I am not convinced this is the case unless you mean they have successfully made their home countries the greatest countries in the world.
2. I take it as you are not sure of the answer. But that's the salient quality of the lib dogmatists, they just see what's on the surface and refuse to look at what's lurking beneath.

Once again, define Islamic extremism if you can.
