So what's your solution to those just looking to do property damage? Shall we just let them burn a city to the ground? Just stand by and observe until they start assaulting and killing people as they already have in multiple instances? Even then excusing it as random and mostly peaceful? The mob, left or right, black or white need to be stopped using whatever force is required to get the job done.
 
Dissenting citizens burning down or storming buildings, private or public, is not a threat to society. Precariousness, anti-labor laws, police and military suppression, global warming, and all the spin-off effects of those are threats to our society.

It was not a random shot into a crowd. You always shot the first threat through the door...you do not wait for a lot of them to enter so that they can overwhelm you. Hopefully, those behind the first person shot will back off and disperse or scare them away long enough until you get re-reinforcement from other law enforcement or military.

Police officer gave a warning to the person that stuck their head through the broken out window...she then continue and climb through that window while her pals (armed with weapons) next to her yelled he has a gun...
  • She continued going through the window and rightfully shot because the police officer has a sworn duty to protect congress people hiding in the same room.
These were people yelling hang the Vice President, holding Zip ties to capture / kidnap / murder congress people while doing room to room search for congress people...often calling out their names like creepy murders in a horror movie...

Not looters breaking into a retail store that has no customers there nor the owner in danger. A business that most likely has insurance.

This was the U.S. Capitol with the highlest level targets in the U.S. government after the President sitting inside with a crowd that was growing violent and looking to break in. The cop could have ran at her and shoved her back through the open window to defend the door or shot her. Either way these are fact specific cases. The cop was not choosing a life over some stupid property. He was doing his job to defend U.S. Congressmen and the Vice President of the United States. You cannot compare this to a Target or Wendy's.

That's the real issue...

Many do compare the Police risking their lives to defend elected Congress members during a confirmation of the Electoral College Vote of the recent U.S. Elections to defending a store with insurance from being looted or burned down.

It's pathetic comparison and very problematic.

Looting/Rioting is wrong but nothing in comparison to storming the U.S. Capitol during a confirmation of the Electoral College Vote while searching for Congress members to hang / Zip tie / kidnap and to murder.

Always an excuse for the mob. Yes, she could have followed simple instructions and still be alive today. Better yet, she could have not participated at all. The same could be said for the dope in Minneapolis. Don't violently resist arrest, follow simple instructions, he's alive today. Fuck'em both.
