Twitter is for losers.
I think all of this makes for an entertaining business story but, yes, it is important to keep in mind that this is just a bullshit company that would be backfilled in various ways if it fell off the cliff tomorrow.
Ditto for Fakebook/Meta. Zuckerberg is running a full blown disaster over there too. Stock is down and he is running the company into the ground by bleeding major cash over into his pet metacrap project which no one else cares about.
People begin to act like someone is unplugging their heart-lung machine or something if they mess with Twitter of Fakebook. Nope.
So what you are saying is that Elon Musk greatly overpaid for a company that effectively has no societal value and limited business value --- and Elon is taking measures to run it into the ground as quickly as possible.
Post the part where I said "Elon is taking measures to run it into the ground" and we will go from there.
No crabwalks please.
Do you have any evidence that he is not running Twitter into the ground? Let's cite the evidence since he took over:
Yeah.... and this is a business he greatly overpaid for -- and effectively has no value unless Musk retains his top users and advertisers.
- The N word being used all over Twitter
- The return of extremists posting with limited moderation.
- The plans to layoff 25% of employees
- Unreasonable demands which undermines security and stability of the product (e.g. get this new feature in place by November 7th or you are all terminated).
- Advertisers making plans to leave Twitter if content moderation flounders.
As soon as you say ditto for Zuck at Meta/Facebook then you are making the case that Musk is running Twitter into the ground as well -- in a similar manner as Zuck is doing.
No crabwalks.
You post where I said he is taking measures to run it into the ground, as you said I did.
And we will go from there.
I am pretty sure that is not his goal nor is it up to you decide that that is his intent.
