Tudor Jones "Why we need to rethink capitalism"

because it tells me there is still a populist streak in the US a mile wide and that the "system" cannot dictate everything that happens.

Hate to be a downer but the "system" isn't always about preserving the status quo directly. It's very much about utilizing divide and conquer tactics to ensure it *indirectly*.

capitalism encourages production and innovation

what does communism and socialism encourage? happy feelings? :D

they don't encourage, but if you want to eat, you have to work and if your in jail, than you dig ditches before you eat. not so bad when you think about it, but all three are corrupt, so pick a side.

LOL, looks like you picked the side that wins. Cuban commies give you a choice-cut cane or go to jail. Capitalism has some good people, average people, wise people, some worse than average; but capitalism is much better than any commies. If any think other wise-do a tour of NOrth Korea, not saying you get to come back from North Korea-simply a comparison.....

LOL, I didn't pick! But, lets take our picnic baskets and go to a park in Chicago's west or south side, maybe even Detroit...... and watch the stars. Do you travel much? or do you view the world from a TV set or newspaper? There are any many examples of both having good bad and ugly.

Q: Who are you going to vote for in the presidential election?

Paul Tudor Jones: I think the biggest issue facing America, unequivocally, is campaign finance reform.

Sure and it has been for a while. Where was this guy say 10 years ago? It's a fraudulent system where you buy a politician in exchange for favors you expect from him when he is elected. Simple as that.
