Tudor Jones "Why we need to rethink capitalism"

haha, what you mean, what he is talking about? The same nonsense that usually comes out of your brain cells.

But hey, I can answer your question: Even the rich fuck and produce offspring. After all nobody wants to have their kids get schooled next to those poor losers in the public system.

So, your usual amiable conversational tone aside, you are saying private schools don't make money?

No I never said so nor do I think so. How can they not make money. With those ridiculous tuition fees a school board either acts grossly negligent or criminal to bankrupt a private school.

I was simply pointing out that the BS of the other poster quite resembles the quality of your posts. Not much difference. But please carry on I did not mean to interrupt your intelligent conversation with your kind.

Ah, so you aren't agreeing with him. I see now. Thank you for clarifying in your usual adult tone.

Loyek, can you answer my original question please?

What are you talking about, for-profit education can't compete? How many private schools out there are busting at the seams and have waiting lists?
private schools are not for profit schools. How much profit did Harvard make last quarter?

Because it is a private institution, this information isn't readily available. But I'd be willing to bet that if you put it up against any state university, it'd be easily in line. So I'm still not following what you are trying to say.

Capitalism will destroy itself, the former Greek finance minister warns, if economic calculation excludes human needs and ignores democratic verdicts

Today’s economic models not only can’t deal with democracy, but they have become embedded in economic behavior, influencing economic actors, policy makers, and elected officials. He warned that policies derived from the impulse of orthodox economics to reduce human beings into elastic, mechanized inputs threatened capitalism’s future: It destroys human creativity and freedom, which (among other things) generates new ideas and technologies that drive productivity and creates profits for capital.

Paradoxes abound: the more capitalism succeeds in commodifying human beings, the worse things become for capitalism — powerless and poor, their buying power is degraded, and with it, aggregate demand.

Good points; Putin was the one that called '' a bear market = a failure of capitalism'' LOL

I might have made the same remarks as Tudor-Jones a year or two ago, but I'm now re-aligning my thoughts. I try to change when I'm wrong. I once believed in peak oil, which is completely ludicrous now. I still believe in future inflation, although it's nowhere in sight; maybe I'll be proven wrong on that one, too.

Anyway, I am pleased that Sanders and Trump have both come farther than I ever thought they could. Even though I fear Sanders and despise Trump, I'm glad this has happened, because it tells me there is still a populist streak in the US a mile wide and that the "system" cannot dictate everything that happens. That is heartening, even if the sentiments and wishes of the people who vote for these clowns are sometimes pretty ignorant. At least these guys have proven that the people can speak and that they can be heard. Now if we can just get the people to care about something more important than how many illegal aliens are here and whether they are making $15 an hour....sigh.
