Doesn't it take less than 90 minutes for a full charge at the Supercharger for a 100D?
When I drive across Germany there are in total only 13 supercharger stations available in an area of about 50 km around the autobahn, on the trip I usually make. So first leave the autobahn, and drive around to find one is already extra time you need.
Next problem is that these superchargers are very busy as there are only a few. So wait in queue till one is available for you. Can take 90 minutes extra if you are really unlucky in your timing.
So your 90 minutes in real live are closer to 3 hours before you have a full recharge and are back on the autobahn.
In the city where I live there are no superchargers, for the closest one you have to drive at least 50 km, and back, so 100 km. If I watch on the map from Tesla with all location where you can load , there seems tobe a loading point in the center of my city. In reality there is no loading point, and the street where this station should be is a passengers area where no cars can come. So there will NEVER be one, and if there will be one it will never be used.
In an area of 2500 square km (50 by 50 km) there is not a single supercharger and only
2 Tesla Connectors, up to 22kW. Available for patrons only. Don't even know what "patrons" mean but clearly not a place where any Tesla driver can charge. I live however in an area with a density of around 300-400 people per square km. So not in a desert or abandoned area.
There are 1000 times more fuel stations, so no stress, no hunting for energy, no queue... and no stops every 200 miles to start the hunt for a loading station.
