So there is a “clearing house” for “facts”, called Politifacts, and they provide a fact checking “service” for free?
Interesting “business” model. It sounds like a credibility device the media has created in an attempt to give them back some authority they have lost over the years through their biased “reporting.”

All mainstream U.S. media is crap, including Fox news. In order for the U.S. media to play the blame game effectively, they need the other side to participate.
Political discussions, like the ones here on Elite Trader are becoming more and more the new media. When we participants do our own thorough research and ethically relay the findings of that research, we have created a source of information whose value far exceeds than what is provided by the U.S. media.
The problem is that your side relies on a host of fake news sites for your information - with the MSM, atleast there is some accountability with retractions and action against journalists if they make a mistake, on the conservative side lies are rewarded and promoted.

Ok, here's the deal, I will make a new thread with every single lie Trump has uttered since he started his campaign, you can tell me either it's a SMEAR or a LIE and we will tally the final count to see who was in the wrong. Deal?
Also what exactly was exposed here? And what I find ironical here is, Trump is a known notorious liar but that's OK because someone else lies as well? Where are your standards? You can't complain about lying media on one hand and then support someone who is such a notorious liar on absolutely every issue.

Sure, my issue with your stance is that whatever you are accusing the regular media of doing, the right wing media does it way worse. I am talking about Limbaugh, Breitbart and GatewayPundit kind of stuff which is basically the gold standard of conservative media right now.
