Trump's incompetence cost hundreds of thousands of lives, says own Pandemic coordinator

I mostly compare Trump to the rest of the presidents in the world who didn't have the vaccine.Trump is dead last with his country having the most cases and the most deaths.

I too prefer to compare Trump performance as a world leader during a Pandemic to the performance of other world leaders (their Covid healthcare policy) when he was in office.

The statistics do not lie and his own statements / video are now etched in history to never be erased so that we should never forget for fear of history repeating. The latter is very important because since the early 1900s...

Pandemics are becoming more frequently and the person at the top needs to protect Americans first. Those that protects their own ass first...they get fired from the oval office.

It all happen on Trump watch.

• Regardless, he's gone and good riddance. Any idiot that ignores what happen is doomed to repeat it again in their support for an ass like that.

There will be another Pandemic...hopefully we won't have a dick in the oval office when the next Pandemic occurs.

Unlike every other country in the world, Covid hit America last. Trump had 4 months to figure out how to prepare. Instead he did nothing snd the governors panicked after Tom hanks got it and the nhl shut down their season. 4 months could have been spent setting up guidelines and stocking up on PPE.

But there’s speculation that trump thought since Covid would hit blue states harder he could make some democrat governors look bad (while hundreds of thousands died).

Instead, he held a press conference talking about drinking bleach!

I saw wrbtrading’s BS post (He has me on ignore). Actually, it’s the Leftist media and the Democrats who spend much of their time making things political, like the Coronavirus or any statement that can be remotely interpreted as racist, sexist or homophobic. Even the Trump campaign’s tagline, “Make America Great Again”, (MAGA) was made political by the Democrats. Look at all the posts on ET where “MAGA” is used derisively by our resident Leftists.

Alas, wrbtrading, although smart, is among the p*ss**s I mentioned in an earlier post in this thread, who dares not directly address the fact that no better policy exists now, even with perfect knowledge of what happened than what the Trump Administration came up with. I suppose if I were a p*ss*, and felt my arguments could not stand up to a debate, I would hide behind an ignore as well.

At the end of the day, accusing Trump of Covid mismanagement while your guy has the benefit of multiple vaccines from day one of his Presidency, but is seeing a resurgence in Covid cases in spite of the flu season ending is counterproductive and the ultimate in hypocrisy.

Trump didn’t understand the logistical factors of the vaccine distribution at all. Not to mention the lies of the amount we can produce. Biden and his team got the vaccine moving all across America. Trump was just dumping boxes off at airports and saying good luck.

Since Biden came in the vaccine rollout has been good ( far better then Canada ) and the latest GDP forecasts say growth this year could be huge ( eg 8-9% ). They've done well so far. Just seeing Trump regulated to the dust bin has been a huge help there is far less drama in the US. Our resident trucker's take on things is irrational and can only be explained by a Trump induced fog that never went away. In fact, I think there are a lot of butt hurt Trump supporters who simply can't admit things have improved with Trump out of the way.

Now some will rightly say a portion of this progress was established when Trump was President. I would say that was despite Trump's best efforts to derail things. Business leaders are seeing the vaccine rollout and improved outlook without Trump messing with international trade and miscellaneous disruptions. They have augmented the size of the recovery by buying into it under Biden.
