Response to Tony Stark’s posts: Trump, as other Presidents, have said dumb things. Sure, Trump had more than his fair share with Corona, but Trump’s actual policies were reasonable.
As far as infection rate comparisons between countries, the US has a much more mobile population than many other countries as well as particularly heavily travelled borders, causing comparisons versus countries that have a less active population to be all but useless.
So far, you have not proposed better policy than Trump actually implemented, even in hindsight.
It is easy to blame another for the results of a disaster, even though they did not cause it. However, when it comes to arguing which policies are more effective than others, the accusers usually go silent after exhausting what they heard on CNN.

Trump didn't cause Covid,but he is responsible for The US having more cases and deaths than any other country on the planet.
Again, the US population is different than most other countries because of how active we are as consumers. Most of us shop or otherwise visit a business several times per day, increasing our exposure to multiple people. US population commutes are longer, making geographic containment policy concerning affected areas more difficult. Contact tracing is also academic for the same reasons previously mentioned.
I am hoping someone will step forward and propose policy, even using the perfect knowledge of the past, that could be shown to outperform what Trump actually did.
I have hopes for Biden. After all, he knows about EOs and is not afraid to use them. Besides, with multiple, beautiful vaccines, we can say we are out of the woods, now. Right? We’ll give a mulligan to the recent resurgence to US Covid infections to show we are good sports, with open minds, looking towards the future of a Covid free world:

Those countries did not call it a Hoax nor blame the other political party as Trump did such for fact.
Those countries did not downplay Covid as Trump did multiple of times.
Those countries did not turn a health crisis into a political fiasco nor did those countries have a leader at odds against its own Covid Task Force in which Trump replaced or silence those within his task force that followed the science.
