Trump’s Idea to Bleach Lungs to Kill Coronavirus Alarms Experts

One more thing about the fresh/instant discussion. There is nothing quite like the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Supposedly, freeze drying captures the aroma better than does spray drying, so I'll see what's what on the weekend. However, I remember drinking Taster's Choice years ago, which advertised its freeze drying process, and I don't recall it measuring up to the aroma of fresh brewed.

As with everything in life, I suppose, it's a trade-off.

P.S. Still snowing.

Well at least you have proper unadulterated maple syrup, very good in an Irish coffee.

I think I need one, miserable day yesterday and did not sleep after dealing with some especially hard hospice stuff, made a lot worse from one woman's covid19 fearing (past sane) daughter.

It used to be that death was a good cleanser of bullshit but in the reality Trump has created with just be stupid..

Having taken a couple of cups of normal Colombian acidic coffee my father-in-law made and paying for it is bad mood last night I did some checking on if anyone else preferred coffee made with not very hot water vs boiled and found my answer. As simple as this why low temp water works better.

"It's lower in acidity – According to a study done by Toddy, cold brew coffee is over 67% less acidic than hot brewed coffee! ... It's sweeter and smoother – Because the coffee grounds aren't exposed to high temps, cold brew coffee usually tastes more flavorful and less bitter".

I'll try cold brewing ground here in the fridge tonight and microwave heating to just drinking temp tomorrow.

All I can say is people need to see that Trump is driven by a specific defect in his physical brain.

Having worked in anti poaching (hunters) and with police a lot in the UK, abrnomal mental behavior becomes something you can't help but see clearly. There are ways to deal with pushy normal people, reason with them, but a psychopath or narcissist.. They are thinking animals however if you can't given them what they want you often need to be unpleasant to protect others.
I'm not denying that Donald Trump is a narcissist. I'm pointing out the humor in an actor calling others narcissists.

Even if we are to accept your premise that Bugenhagen is a narcissist because he has done some acting, you have to acknowledge the magnitude of Trump's narcissism if Bugenhagen is offended by it.

Yeah that's true, even a lousy actor thinks he stinks. :)

Trump's condition is so profound, identifiable by external scan you can be sure, he is incapable of focusing on the larger good except for where he benefits. It not choice or just nurture*, he is incapable on a physical level of following his oath.

*I was fairly just big/odd looking until my late teens and strangers only started to ask me if I was an actor around 25 when I finished growing. I was not a very popular kid really just by looks, I never learned to just burn friends as always forgiven etc. Eventually however you think, hey maybe give it a go this acting since it comes up so much.

I'm a computer science guy really who has done some other stuff.

Sorry replied above, forgot to quote you. There is a different between an actor who fancies himself a bit and a real narcissist (which film does attract).

All Donald really wanted was to be a Harvey Weinstein type in Hollywood. Plenty of evidence for this. Powerful and with all that comes. He was just too boring and flat.

I'll be buying some freeze dried tomorrow, for comparative purposes. If I can't find their Clasico Dark Roast, I'll get their Gold Dark Roast, which I believe is freeze dried:

https://www.madewithnestle.ca/nesca...tavR-r1OvrWDZ-82Fy4aAvdhEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
So I bought the Gold Dark Roast because I could not find the Clasico Dark Roast. It is more fragrant in the jar than the Gold "Espresso" but does not taste better or have much of an aroma after preparing it. I think I prefer the "Espresso."

Here's the thing. Whereas the "Espresso" is "100% Arabica," the Dark Roast is "blended with" Arabica beans. Hmm. That's a bit like hamburgers "made with" real beef...

So it looks like the Dark Roast (at least the Gold, if not the Clasico) is also made with cheaper Robusta beans. Even the Clasico label says "100% pure coffee" without mentioning either type of bean:

I suppose it's a trade-off between a better bean and a better process. What to do, what to do? Well, as I noted, I think I prefer the "Espresso."

As an aside, the "Espresso" has a very slightly higher rating among consumers on the Nescafe site, although the Dark Roast has far more reviews:

I have not been able to try the cold brew as all my ground coffees are in the city and the brand in the local country store is just garbage.

Cafe Quindío ground is my preferred here, if the cold water makes it less acidic great. I've tried roasted egg shells, every other trick and nothing works to remove the "brightness", bright is the coffee term for sour I learn.

If I can enjoy the coffee, buying a place in the coffee region gets attractive again. Plus I could just process my own coffee cherries. (though instant is fine :))

From a reddit :
"Generally, yes, all Columbian beans are acidic. It's not the roast that causes this though, it's the processing beforehand. Just about all Latin American beans are "washed", which means that after the coffee cherries are depulped the beans are fermented for several hours in water; this is what gives the coffee an acidic flavor.

I'd recommend trying a different region such as an African or an Asian coffee, and look for coffees labeled as semi-washed or natural (aka dry).

By jove it works! Cold brewing.

I had to have some stuff courieried from my main place so I asked the house keeper to throw a bag if my usual ground coffee in the box.

So I found an old mini coffee machine and the filter fits in one of the cups. I poured in cold bottled water and left it for ten minutes.

Then heated the result only to drinking temp in the microwave and It is definately less acidic.

I'm fine with the instant and I get that the problem is the water process coffee fruit removal here but good to know. Another hey, what else have I got to do? lockdown experiment :)
