Trump’s Idea to Bleach Lungs to Kill Coronavirus Alarms Experts

It interesting as an American but only technically so really what it is to love America?Certainly some national parks and some cities like New Orleans are loveable but wow are the people hit and miss, the majority very unlovable.. or perhaps tolerable with 30 percent totally unloveable.

I was literally just discussing it with a friend here and he found this old 1980 article "A cult of ignorance".

This links to to the PDF and maybe makes a fair commentary.

(disclosure, I own four Azimov first editions :))
In 1980, scientist and writer Isaac Asimov argued in an essay that “there is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been.” That year, the Republican Party stood at the dawn of the Reagan Revolution, which initiated a decades-long conservative groundswell that many pundits say may finally come to an end in November. GOP strategist Steve Schmidt (who has been regretful about choosing Sarah Palin as John McCain's running mate in 2008) recently pointed to what he called “intellectual rot” as a primary culprit, and a cult-like devotion to irrationality among a certain segment of the electorate.

:D

But Larsen believes things can be different with him as a challenger, as he kicks off his campaign to win a spot on the Democratic ticket come November 2020.

Larsen's TV writing credits include "The Drew Carey Show," "Ellen," and "Real Time with Bill Maher," for which he received a Primetime Emmy Nomination with other writers on the show in 2012.
