They have the same impact as the number of hits in a baseball game. Related to the number of runs, but you can still win the game (which is the most important thing) with less hits than the other team. Or shots on goal in hockey.

You actually have to have enthusiasm FOR a candidate, not enthusiasm AGAINST a candidate. You saw how 2016 played out when your side had enthusiasm against Trump.

If you let babies whine, they eventually get tired and fall asleep and I promise after 4 years, many democrats will be exhausted of all that whining, many of whom will quietly come to Trumps side.

Democrats did not think Trump could win in 2016 and millions stayed home for various reasons and many gave protest votes to Jill Stein who got a million more votes in 2016 than she got in 2012.Now that we know Trump can win if we don't show up or give protest votes to Stien it will be much different in 2020.
