Of course he represents interests that lobbyists push, again, his responsibility is favorable business law for his corporations. As for his business record, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it I suppose - though from your comment about not being American, I suppose your view of him is rather irrelevant.
Perhaps if you lived here and this government was yours, you'd have a different opinion of what is wrong. If memory serves, you're European, correct? Your liberal slant is probably typical to many in Europe - and that's just fine. But don't concern yourself about the Mexican immigration problems we have. Instead, put your effort into solving your own Muslim immigration one. From what I understand, that's a far greater concern.
