Leaked Document: Trump Wants to Identify Officials Who Worked on Obama Climate Policies

Donald Trump aides are attempting to identify Department of Energy staffers who played a role in promoting President Barack Obama's climate policies, according to details of a leaked transition team questionnaire published by Bloomberg Thursday night.

According to Bloomberg:

The transition team has asked the agency to list employees and contractors who attended United Nations climate meetings, along with those who helped develop the Obama administration's social cost of carbon metrics, used to estimate and justify the climate benefits of new rules. The advisers are also seeking information on agency loan programs, research activities and the basis for its statistics, according to a five-page internal document circulated by the Energy Department on Wednesday. The document lays out 65 questions from the Trump transition team, sources within the agency said.

Bloomberg goes on to say the document was confirmed by two Energy Department employees, who said agency staff were "unsettled" by the request. Someone in Trump's transition team also confirmed the authenticity of the document to Bloomberg.

either that or a fakenews / unproven science issue that should not be funded by the government.

if these people lied about the existence of the science citing debunked surveys but they felt compelled to do so to keep their jobs... they should make a public apology and explain who forced them to lie against their will.

we should not have public servants who lie.

The next people to face the chopping block should be the IRS people involved in go after conservatives. Some of those people should be facing jail time.

She obviously violated the law with her email server - the question is why she was not properly prosecuted for her crime.

Many other individuals who did much less were prosecuted for violating national security.

Why don't we ask General Petraeus what he thinks of the treatment he received versus how Hillary was treated.

"The Department of Energy has rejected a request from President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team to name employees and contractors who worked on climate change policies.

“We are going to respect the professional and scientific integrity and independence of our employees at our labs and across our department,” Energy Department spokesman Eben Burnham-Snyder said in an email to The Washington Post. “We will be forthcoming with all publicly available information with the transition team. We will not be providing any individual names to the transition team.”

This stalling will end on January 21st ... at this point all the climate alarmists will be evicted from the department.

P.S. - There is a law against violating national security by knowingly placing classified information in an insecure location. Ask all the others who have been convicted of felonies for doing much less grevious offenses with classified data.
