P.S. - There is a law against violating national security by knowingly placing classified information in an insecure location. Ask all the others who have been convicted of felonies for doing much less grevious offenses with classified data.

Firing civil service employees is not easy, but it can be done. Their departments can also be eliminated and they can be transferred to unpleasant locations. Of course their unions will sue but who cares? It gets resolved five years later, if at all.
