Yup, Trump offered up a deal where twice the number of DACA would get amnesty AND A PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP. Basically flushed his entire base down the drain with that type of thing- but not a single dem would rise to work with him on it.
And no. He did not cancel DACA. He merely declared the obvious that it was unconstitutional - and requires legislative enactment- just as the Supreme Court will do. But he said he would let things stand for another six months to give Congress a chance to act. An enormously reasonable action. BUT NO. There will be no helping DACA kids by anyone if Trump gets any credit and as we know Trump is a right winger who cannot meet the dems halfway. I guess that is why he doubled their offer and alienated his entire base with his offer. It certainly served to flush out the dems true motives though.
I have brought more than one factor into the discussion and your binary mind must be overload. Sit down for a bit and breath into a paper bag.
You’re on heavy drugs with this stuff. Trump isn’t helping anyone. He wants the wall for political reasons and he cancelled DACA because he thought it would help him politically. Surprise surprise that blew up in his face like this latest stunt he tried, putting kids in cages.
The only deal worth any salt will be hashed out in the House. That is your lesson for the day.
