Trump to Boycott Fox Debate

yes it's very nice, I need to know very little before I proceed. I figure I'm proceeding one way or the other so why wait until I know something?

Sounds like an excellent way to live one's life. I'm sure you're a beacon of success, and one we all would do well to emulate.

I have to side with trump on this. The first Fox debate was ridiculous. Megyn Kelly was merely the most obvious problem. They were totally in the bag for Bush and desperately trying to tear Trump down. It's the same thing we complain about with the liberal networks, ie all the others.

Republican candidates don't have any real leverage with liberal networks or cable. The situation with Fox is more complicated. Most of the candidates totally depend on fox, but Trump is so powerful, he has leverage over Fox. His supporters are their core audience.

Fox's statement mocking trump was totally unprofessional. Would they ever do that with Obama or hillary? Not on your life. He had no choice but to withdraw after that. Anyone who watches Kelly's show for 15 minutes can see that she is obsessed with Trump and burning to take him down. It's very unprofessional. Hannity by contrast has played it down the middle. I have never been a big fan of his and I liked Kelly, but she has seriously damaged her brand and Fox in the process. Ailes and Fox are in a tough spot, as she is their big new star and they can't just ditch her, but this is really hurting them with their core audience.

By contrast, it doesn't hurt Trump at all. Any debate is a risk for the frontrunner. Trump again dominates the coverage and makes the other candidates look insignificant. Perception matters.
WOW! Trump has turned FOX News into a reality show!

That's a shocker.

I am not a Trump fan. However I will have to side with Trump on this as well. I think it is a brilliant move that makes clear how insignificant the biased media is.

When FOX puts out statements like this - "We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president -- a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings."

- it demonstrates their complete bias.

Trump's answer to this is that Ayatollah and Putin are significant, FOX News and Megyn Kelly are completely insignificant. The media needs to learn their place and Trump is providing the smack-down.

That's the way I see it. It's Trumps to lose. Everyone knows where he stands. The sensational policies are out the bag. What's left to debate? The only debates that matter next are if Trump makes a big stumble, or we move on to Hillary/Sanders.

Depends on how you define success. If it is just happiness, then yes, I am a beacon and have more than I know what to do with and can't give it away fast enough. If it is joy, well, I have my moments, but I wouldn't recommend emulationg me.

I devoted my life to joy and all I got was this lousey happiness

Ok, but that comment came after Trump dumped. But how is Fox biased because Kelly asks Trump about comments re women that he's on the record making?

And all the previous comments out of FOX? Have they abused the other main-stream Republican candidates in the same manner they have abused Trump?
