otherwise I sarcastically agree that a great leader must speak in a way the media can understand, and he should have to walk the media guantlet so we can all vote on who is the best talker.
If a candidate can't conform to media standards there is a real danger he could be a rebel or even go rouge. Already he is not playing by the rules.

I don't think I was hostile or angry at all. In fact, I think your initial post about Trump skipping the debate came off as very hostile and angry. If you think he's a baboon or a bully, great. Many people despise Trump, especially up here in Canada. If you want to debate the issues fine. Be my guest. I took a long look at Bernie tonight. And while he's on the mark with many critical issues like trade, offshoring, immigration and H1B's, his single payer medical program will bankrupt America. Not to mention a measly 90% tax rate on the top 1 percent. Not workable.
Candidates shouldn't have to conform to the media's standards. But speaking intelligently, sometimes humbly, and avoiding mud wrestling is not mutually exclusive with not following the media's wishes.
I stated I was on the fence and warming to Trump, but this comment and issue he's taken with Megan Kelly is petulant. That doesn't seem hostile or angry. I even said I was "disappointed", that's all. In response, you say that I haven't listened or bothered to read Trump's platform, which is akin to calling me ignorant. However, if that was not your intent, then fine - no harm, no foul.

Fair enough. I wasn't suggesting you're ignorant. I don't understand how you can make the comment that Trump has no plan or is vapid. His plan is pretty specific. What about it is ambiguous?
I don't remember saying he had no plan, or was vapid. It's possible I accidentally wrote that, but can you show me where I did so I might retract it?
It's easy to have balls with 10 billion dollars and a give a shit attitude. What he doesn't have, IMO, is the thoughtfulness or the temperament for the job.
Certainly he has tapped into the anger and frustration and that's a good thing. He has absolutely exposed the bullshit in the political system and the media. All good with that too. He's a great hatchet man and sometimes a hatchet man is just what's needed to shake things up. What you don't what is said hatchet man to then take over the whole parade. He has and will continue to serve a purpose, but in the end I'll vote for someone with a more level head. Right now that would be Cruz, Christie or Rubio, in that order and I actually am liking Christie more each day. Just one mans opinion. Doesn't make me right.
I don't understand politics exactly like I don't understand Professional Wrestling (even though I really enjoyed it every week when I was a kid and our hometown Dick the Bruiser took on the bad guys.)
There's a place for serious talking and making a deal and Donald knows that is not on tv.
