Trump to Boycott Fox Debate

Moderator: Governor Bush, You have criticized Marco Rubio for not showing up for Senate votes. Donald Trump didn't show up tonight. Do you think that makes him a weak candidate?

I disagree, Arnie. The question was a fair one (the one Megan asked) and even if it weren't, it would be eventually asked by another moderator when Hillary faced Trump - when he won't be able to run from it.

It's going to require more than just tweeting snark and (semi) witty insults at people that don't get along with you or agree. It's going to require diplomacy, the ability to reach across the aisle. The desire to want to heal.

The fact that 40% of the people in the poll vote for Trump is no more comforting than the statistics that show 43% of people still approve of Obama - or that 40% of people think jersey shore is a great show. None of these statistics necessarily bode well for the future of the United States of America.

Point taken. Trump's policy is well laid out and specific. Guess you haven't read it or bothered to listen. No other reason why a person wouldn't know if they were sincere in learning it. Trump has alot more depth then snarky tweets and pointing fingers. We do have a Muslim problem, an open border problem, a debt problem, and illegal immigrant problem, to name a few. Compromise by 'reasoned' individuals is what brought America to its knees. No more compromise with Corporate politicians who want to bleed this country dry.

Response: Your entire audience is watching Trump on another channel and a mere dozen people are watching this debate. Do you think FOX made a terrible error in judgement?

I've read Trumps platform. I particularly like large pieces of his tax policy, and I like his immigration stance. This doesn't give one the excuse to act like a bully or baboon. I get it, though. You're a big fan of Trump and take any criticism of Trump as a personal attack and react accordingly with open hostility the moment criticism is brought up.

But it would be helpful for dialogue if you, and the 40% of people who follow Trump primarily because of the anger and hate being spewed would actually debate issues rather than insist you have the only solutions. Just my two cents, achilles.
